Conscious connected breathwork unites the mind, body and spirit in a way that eases tension and promotes mindfullness and well being. Regular practice can have a positive impact on your physical and emotional health and improve your outlook on life.
Breathwork is a great way to improve your endurance for other physical activities. Before exercise breathing techniques can energise as part of a warm up and afterwards can help your body relax and recover.
Breathwork not only improves your body, but also helps with mindfulness and meditation. Take a break from daily life in order to focus on yourself and get clarity.
Breathing in Peace CIC is a not for profit social enterprise that has been set up to promote conscious connected breathing as a method for improving physical, emotional and mental health.
Our breath is connected to our body and our emotions and the way we breathe can have a positive effect on our quality of life. Breathing techniques can be used help to relieve the symptoms of anxiety, panic attacks, depression, and ptsd and with commitment regular practise is a valuable key to self healing and transformation. Our vision is to use our expertise and the Breathing In Peace platform to bring this knowledge to our veterans and the serving military community, proactively reaching the veterans of our future.
Breathing is for everyone – we all do it! Everyone is welcome at our events and we are grateful for all your support which helps us to fund the programs for the military community.
Breathing in Peace CIC has a team of directors who have all served in the UK armed Forces.
Sally joined the Royal Signals from school and served as a technician for close to 6 years. After spending time in 21 Sig Regt and I (UK) Armd Div the transition to a civy life wasn’t straight forward – despite having excellent egg banjo skills there weren’t many pale blue electronics out in the real world to fix - however she finally found her place in motorsport where she managed engineering programs for 8 years. In 2018 she attended a Transformation Breath® workshop to help her train for the London Marathon and it quite literally changed her life. The idea for Breathing in Peace was born that day and since then she has travelled the world to complete the training. She qualified as a Group Leader in November and along the way has been taught by the best Transformation Breath® senior trainers in the UK, Holland, Italy and Turkey including the founder of Transformational Breath® herself Judith Kravitz.
Knowing how much breathwork has transformed her own life she is passionate about bringing these benefits to the military community and can be relied upon to champion it at any given opportunity!
Your support and contributions enable us to fund our military and dependants programs. All donations however small are gratefully received. Please check out the military support page for more information
